  • Mount Pleasant Community Centre 3 McCormacks Bay Road Christchurch, Canterbury, 8081 New Zealand (map)

Learn about the patterns of the English language. This increased knowledge will provide a pathway to confidently teach it in a structured literacy way - systematically, cumulatively, explicitly and diagnostically. This workshop is delivered online.

Workshop 2 is delivered over two full days. Attendance at both days is required.

Our presenters will deliver practical workshops giving you the opportunity to increase your teacher knowledge around literacy terms such as syllable type, digraph, schwa, diphthong, affixes and the alphabetic principle. There will be ample opportunity to gain a deep understanding of all the literacy terms covered and time to practice applying the knowledge gained.
