Two-day Secondary Workshop, Christchurch (Literacy Connections)

  • Mount Pleasant Community Centre 3 McCormacks Bay Road Christchurch, Canterbury, 8081 New Zealand (map)

This is for any educators in the secondary setting that would like to know about the Science of Reading, Science of Learning, and Structured Literacy.

Once you have an understanding of these terms we show you how to practically apply them to the teaching of reading, writing and spelling within a secondary context. Come away with many practical ways to enhance your teaching of literacy in the secondary classroom, across departments, whole-school and learning support.

We can also run this workshop in-house and are MOE PLD approved facilitators.  If you have any questions about our secondary workshops (public and in-house)  please contact Andrea Wylie to find out more – andrea@literacyconnections.co.nz
