Unpack how the brain learns to read
Understand the mental demands of learning to read and write
Know the principles and key components of a Structured Literacy approach
Know that biliteracy/multilingualism is an asset and can support the learning of speech sounds in English
Know some of the key similarities and differences between the speech sounds of Te Reo Māori, Samoan and Tongan
Apply this approach in a Junior and Middle School Classroom
Plan for independent and small group activities

Price: $485 + GST for both days. Morning Tea, Lunch and Workbook are all included.
