We know that many of our followers are at home with children during the lockdown and so we thought we’d share some free, evidence-based resources with you.

Little Learners Love Literacy currently have the app version of all their decodable book series free for download in the Apple Store until September 13.

For those of you with kids that like a bit of You Tube, we highly recommend the series of Jim Jam Sessions by Lyn Stone, from Lifelong Literacy. Lyn starting recording these last year and some more recent videos have been uploaded during the current lockdown in Australia

Learning MATTERS have also just created a whole series of content aimed at parents. They provide bite-sized and practical foundational literacy activities you can do with your child/ren.

Lizzy Hansen, created a google slide deck of resources in lockdown last year and has continued to update it for teachers in her RT: Lit cluster since then. She has kindly shared the URL and anyone can make their own copy.
